R290 Green Gas at low GWP(3)

R290 is one of the best refrigerants available for mass production upto now: Negligible Global Warming Potential (GWP) and degradation time is considered in months: Zero ozone layer depletion potential (ODP): Permanent green: Less load for the same performance;  Low energy consumption and higher efficiency.

Thanks to the use of R290, Wotech R290 air to water heat pump is now not only the best solution for new buildings, but also possible to fit the retrofit market by lifting up maximum heating temperature to 70°C. With good performance in this range of water temperatures, it is now possible to replace an old gas/oil boiler with an air-to-water heat pump unit without changing the existing heating distribution system or even the old radiators inside.

Application with multiple heat source

The split system design of the heat pump, consisting of an indoor and outdoor unit, requires specialized installation by an installer qualified to work with refrigerant gases. The advantage of this solution is that there is no risk of freezing of the heating medium in case of power failure. Unlike monoblock pumps, the unit outside the building uses a non-freezing refrigerant.

Floor preheating and drying

Preheat your home floor by activating the Floor Preheating function to prevent possible floor damage. The Floor Preheating function gradually increases the heating temperature of the floor coils.In addition to protecting the installation, the Floor Drying Up function ensures the heat pump operates optimally and effectively by removing any residual moisture from newly installed floor coils.

Climate curve

Using proprietary Heating Curve Logic, users can set up the system to meet their optimum comfort levels based on the changing heat demand, insulation levels, etc. A constant monitoring of the current ambient temperature can enable Wotech air source heat pump to adjust the outlet water temperature in the opposite direction to ensure the optimum level of comfort in the living spaces.

DHW tank disinfection

The water inside the HWT (hot water tank) must be periodically heated to temperatures over 65°C to eliminate bacterial growth inside the tank if domestic hot water is provided directly from the tank.For healthy living, Wotech air source heat pump automatically controls this function based on parameter settings.
